My growling rabbit

My growling rabbit

Hello
My rabbit is from South Africa. He was caught in the wild when he was a baby and is about 8-9 months old. My rabbit can growl. Is this abnormal for a rabbit? He is really smart and likes to lark around.
Any idea on what breed he may be? and is growling normal or not? If it is normal, what does it mean please?

Your baby bunny NEW
by: Anonymous

Hi there
If your bunny is growling it is his way to express displeasure. Were you trying to pick him up when he growled?
Your baby is a Chinchilla. I had one and they grow to be very big but amazing , clever , gorgeous pets.

Chinchilla bunny!

So cute! HE looks like either an American or giant chinchilla. I know it is a rabbit, but that is the breed n.a.err because of it's coloring.
