Yes they can. Mine farted very quietly and the smell was obvious!

Rabbit passing gas NEW

Sorry to say this fact is incorrect. I have had a couple of rabbits that would leave a gas bomb each time you picked them up. They ate rabbit pellets, dandelion greens and carrots. Silent but deadly is the word.
