Is my rabbit lonely?

Hello
I have a male lop, just under a year old. He's always been lively and a bit cheeky but recently he's been very clingy to me and my boyfriend.

He has always been used to us being out at work during the day and although he was clearly happy when we were home, now he gets incredibly excited to see us and follows us all night. Of course the attention from him is lovely but I'm worried it's because he's lonely during the day?

He has loads of toys and wood to play with while we aren't around. So really I'm wondering if we should get him another bunny friend?

Any advice on this would be great as he's our first bun and I can't stand the thought of him being lonely!
