I used maalox when my rabbit had bloat and he lived. I took one to the vet and they killed him. They injected way too much fluid bc he wasn't using the bathroom and sent me on my way with mashed up food pellets. He died the next day. Use a liquid for gas or laxative I promise it helps. ( they do t really like the taste though)
I hope he pulls through!!

Rabbit bloating by: Anonymous
Hello, if you have bloating in a rabbit or gas, you should take the rabbit to your vet as soon as possible.
Bloating is a sign of GI Stasis in rabbits which is a killer.
Think there is a page on this site about it
You only have a day or so, if it is GI Stasis, you best be really quick
