Discharge from rabbits nose and eyes.vets have been no help !!!!

Can anyone help please
I have a giant rabbit.he is just over one years old.he has been sneezing a lot lately sounds like he is trying to unblock his nose and he gets white discharge from his nose and his eyes have had a little too, took him to the vets they said only worry off it turns green as that is a sign of infection !?!?!?!?!?! Very worried, Any advice would be good,thanks
