can scabies/mange in rabbits spread to humans

I currently have three 7wk old rabbits. One has fur loss on it's back paw and a circle of hair loss above it's nose. My vet said it's scabies and has treated the rabbit with revolution. I can't find anywhere whether it can be spread to humans. I have young kids so am slightly concerned whether they should be handling them or not.
Any help would be much appreciated.
